Sometimes, the Soul is Willing…

…but the body, not so much.

When we are sick, we have to slow down — even if we do not want to. There’s not energy for much else. We can take this time to watch television or read. Being creative is the least of our concerns. Congestion makes it hard to concentrate, and while it is tempting to veg out, there is an opportunity for quiet reflection.

We can take this time to watch television or read or sleep. Being creative is the least of our concerns; it takes willpower and energy that we do not have.  Congestion makes it hard to concentrate, and while it is tempting to veg out, there is an opportunity for quiet reflection.

Congestion makes it hard to concentrate, and while it is tempting to veg out, there is a chance for quiet reflection. We can get caught up, worrying that we are not producing as we should.

The days that we miss are less important than the days we show up. When work is finished, and we have time to look back, we forget the days we missed.

We are too hypnotized by the beauty of what we created.
