They are going to be hard days. The way will be unclear.
Sometimes the writing doesn’t flow as well as you think it should. No matter how many writers tell you that truth, when it comes to your work, it doesn’t matter. It still feels like failure.
But it’s far from it.
Failure is stopping. Failure is closing your computer. Failure is closing your notebook and putting down your pen.
Failure is opening up a web browser.
Maybe you don’t write five pages. Maybe you struggle through completing three — or one.
But that struggle of ideas may be the foundation of something great. That one page can be the missing link between the rest of your narrative.
When it is completed, the reader will not know.
