Just a couple of sentences to start off. Every session begins in this way. It is like a conversation between strangers at a dinner party in that once it gets going, the momentum carries it on, leading it to new directions.
Our relationship with our writing is similar. The discomfort of the blank page, of not knowing what to write, is the same discomfort of not knowing what to say.
But the only way to join the conversation is for us to speak up. Only then can we understand who may be listening, and our words can bring us to an unexpected place. Or we can just stay silent, listening.
The decision is ours to make.
