It’s Always Something

We are all bad at many things. Some more than others, but there are those activities where you know you do not have a ‘knack.’

The raw emotion expressed, the anger and frustration, when confronted with these truths of our own inabilities we can see how not to react when staring at a blank page.

That will never be easy.

Accept the activities that trouble us, and do them anyway. Make the mistakes. Look stupid.

It’s good training.

That practice can help when we come to a difficult point in our writing process. The more comfortable we are with being uncomfortable the better we can approach our creative work.
