The path is in the step.
We can imagine the step all we want. Doing so only brings up phantoms of worries or hopes. These become distractions that keep us from making the move.
The difficult thing to accept is that the path is in the step. Only once we gain experience from the steps do we know where the next step should be.
That movement into the unknown is intimidating.
Many refuse the leap.
Risk does not guarantee success. We may very much fail.
We can never know whether or not we can deal with the failure until we experience it ourselves. There’s no comfort in that.
But not moving, not doing so, would be a guarantee. Is that the guarantee that you want to live with?
