The mornings spent in notebooks, deep in the pages, are always more creative and productive.
The keyboard and the screen are excellent productivity tools. Pages accumulate rapidly once you are decent at typing. But there is something about the page that inspires another type of concentration and creativity.
Maybe it’s the screen’s many uses. We all use it for more than writing. As such, our mind is never truly focused. We are one window or tab away from being distracted. Resisting that takes effort, effort that could be spent on writing and creating. Effort that could be used to make the story what we want it to be.
The page helps us be the authors we aspire to be.
