Until it happens everything is preparation. The wait is long and will only come to an end once action is taken.
But before the action must come preparation so that steps taken or not done do in vain.
The irony lies in that there are no wasted steps. The missteps in particular are important. They lead the way for they are the ones that are remembered; the successful steps are forgettable.
Pain and frustration imprint on the soul. And if that is the case, why waste such a natural occurrence?
Use it like everything else that comes naturally — to your advantage.
